Targeting is very useful. It can make a page open in a new window or an iFrame. The tutorial below will teach you how to trget a link.
Here is the basic code for a link:
To target a link, there is a simple line that you have to add to the code, making it look like this:
Where it says WHERE, there are certain values you can enter. They are listed below.
target="blank" : This value will make the link pop up in a new page.
target="self" : This value makes a link open in the same window. This really is unnecassary coding because a link opens in the same window by default anyway.
iFrame Targeting
If you have a layout that features iFrames, you basically do the same thing, only you use the values you assigned to your frames when coding them.
So, let's say I want a link in my navigation frame to open up in my main frame which I've assigned the value "main". All I have to do is use: target="main". This is the same for the other frames to.
