There is a common misconception among computer ownsers that you need WinZip to unzip your files, but that just isn't true. If you have Windows XP, there is a free wizard that comes with it that you can use to unzip your files. Find out how with the tutorial below.
1. Go to your Start Menu and open My Documents. Locate the zipped file that you would like to unzip.
2. Now, once you've found your folder, right click the folder and click "Extract All...". Now a wizard should pop up that say: "Welcome to the Compressed (zipped) Folders Extraction Wizard".
3. Click Next. Now select the directory that you wish the folder to be extracted into by clicking browse. After doing that, click Next again. Your folder should start to unzip and the status bar should say "Extracting".
4. When it finishes click finish and unless you told the computer not to, the directory to extracted the folder to will open with your fresh unzipped folder!
That's that!
